The fundamental principle of Feng Shui is to connect with the natural world. The term Feng Shui translates to “wind” and “water” respectively. These are two elements of nature that we need in order to survive. Our bodies need wind (breath) and water to function.

Feng Shui is the science of arranging the pieces in living spaces, guiding the energy and let it flow freely through your home in order to establish harmony between an individual and their environment. It’s about having a good flow of energy all around you; it’s about positivity. Attracting positive energy will support you in making positive changes in your home and in your life.

What we look at in Feng Shui is the home layout and design, furniture placements, colors, lights, etc… Another thing we look at is the flow of Qi, or energy, and the overall flow of a space. You want to have open spaces that allow Qi to collect so that it can nurture the home’s inhabitants. For example, if a space is packed very tightly, there is probably not enough room for the Qi to flow freely. This can lead to stagnant energy, which can represent blocks, problems or obstacles on all levels.

By using Feng Shui adjustments, you can create positive results for your health, wealth and relationships. Bringing balance and harmony to your home can be accomplished in many ways, for example by moving furniture, choosing the appropriate directions, choosing the right colors for a room or building, using water features, repositioning your desk, etc… By using Feng Shui you can make sure your home is a place that supports your dreams and goals.

The way you arrange your house, your rooms and how you maintain the place can affect you in a negative or positive way. If your space is positive and uplifting, you’re going to feel good. It’s all about looking deeper in the connections between your space and yourself.
