Cedarwood Essential Oil originates from the bark and wood pieces of the cedar tree through a process of steam distillation.
Benefits:
Cedarwood oil promotes sleep, reduces inflammation, treats flaky skin, stimulate circulation, helps with hair loss & repels insects. It can also help treat dandruff and dryness.
Properties: Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antifungal and insecticidal.
Directions:
Apply it directly to your skin to help with pimples, blackheads or whiteheads. (Note – make sure you dilute it first).
Massage: Mix 2 to 3 drops with 2 tablespoons of our Jardins D’EDEN fractionated coconut oil and massage it on your skin as an acne treatment, or into your scalp to soothe an itchy scalp.
Sprinkle it: On your skin or clothes (be sure to dilute it first) to help repel fleas, ticks and moths.
Diffuse it: Put 5 to 7 drops in the essential oil diffuser of your choice and enjoy the grounding, calming effects that this oil has to offer.
Bath: Run a warm bath, add 4 to 6 drops of Cedarwood essential oil to our Jardins D’EDEN Macadamia oil and disperse with your hand. Then relax in the bath for at least 20 minutes before bedtime to relax and alleviate occasional insomnia.
Steam inhalation: Add a few drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam to help relieve congestion.
