Geranium oil is known for its dermatological use to slow down the effects of aging. It has the power to minimize the look of wrinkles because it tightens facial skin. It helps with any muscle cramps. The sweet and floral smell of geranium oil calms and relaxes the body and mind from anxiety and anger.
Properties: Anti-ageing, toning, tightening, regenerating, calming and soothing. It’s anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. Balances the hormones and regulates sebum production.
Directions:
Apply it directly to your skin for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties to help purify and soothe your skin and add a dose of radiance. (Note – make sure you dilute it first). Geranium essential oil is a must-have in your daily skincare routine.
Massage: Mix 5 drops of Geranium essential oil with 10ml of our Jardins D’EDEN Rosehip oil and massage it into the skin where needed. It is known to ease puffiness, remove excess fluid in the skin and tissues, firm sagginess and improve muscle tone.
Diffuse: Put 5 to 7 drops in a room diffuser to ease emotional stress. This will help calm and relax the body and mind, have a gentle relaxing effect on the mood and work as a natural antidepressant. Perfect to soothe the soul and help you go to sleep feeling content.
Bath: Run a warm bath, dilute 4 to 6 drops of Geranium essential oil with our Jardins D’EDEN Apricot Kernel oil and disperse with your hand. Then relax in the bath for at least 20 minutes for a calming, soothing, end of day wind down.
Steam inhalation: Add a few drops of Geranium Essential Oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam to help promote the appearance of healthy skin while also providing a grounding and calming effect to emotions.
