Cypress essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the tall, conical evergreen tree.
Benefits:
Cypress oil has a grounding & uplifting effect, making it a popular oil to diffuse during times of transition or loss. It has a fresh, clean aroma that’s energizing and refreshing. It is beneficial for oily skin conditions and helps reduce appearance of blemishes and overall skin health.
Properties: Antiseptic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, stimulating and antirheumatic and Astringent properties.
Directions:
Apply it directly to your skin to help prevent acne and other skin conditions that are due to toxic buildup (Note – make sure you dilute it first).
Massage: Mix 2 to 3 drops with 2 tablespoons of our Jardins D’EDEN Organic Argan oil and massage it into your scalp for its healing properties to relieve symptoms of flaking and itching of the scalp. It also supports restoring skin’s hydration and eases oil and dry skin issues.
Diffuse: Put 5 to 7 drops in a room diffuser to inhale its invigorating & uplifting aroma.
Bath: Run a warm bath, dilute 4 to 6 drops of cypress essential oil with our Jardins D’EDEN Jojoba oil and disperse with your hand. Then relax in the bath for at least 20 minutes to allow the aroma to help address feelings of fatigue and promote feelings of invigoration instead.
Steam inhalation: Add a few drops of Cyress Essential Oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam to help relieve respiratory issues, clear the throat, reduce nasal and chest congestion, and treat a cough.
