Blending with Geranium EO for Relaxation

My “Serenity” blend

Unwind and nurture your wellbeing with this calming diffuser blend. This serenity-inducing blend is simple to make yet very effective.

To make this blend, I choose three beautiful essential oils that when blended together lead to a synergy that instils an atmosphere of wellbeing and relaxation…
The essential oils I chose to combine are gentle and easy to work with: Lavender, Geranium and sweet Orange.

Properties of the blend:

Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) is the number one essential oil for relaxation and sleep- inducing.

Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis var. dulce) is a gentle citrusy essence, renown for its calming properties. It has a pleasant and sweet aroma.

Geranium (Pelargonium asperum): Our neuro- balancing EO is used for its relaxing properties and for creating a feel-good atmosphere

When to diffuse this blend:

You can diffuse this blend to relax at the end of a long working day or to infuse a convivial atmosphere if you are receiving guests, or simply to unwind and slowly prime your mind, body and spirit for sleep time!

Operating Mode for a 300 ML Ultrasonic Diffuser:

If you have an ultrasonic diffuser (that uses water), fill your diffuser with water till the indicated level and add the following oils:

6 drops of Lavender EO (Lavandula angustifolia)
7 drops of Sweet Orange Ess. (Citrus sinensis. var dulcis)
2 drops of Geranium EO (Pelargonium graveolens var. Bourbon)

Some tips:

If you like the aroma, you can make a bigger stock bottle, just by respecting the essential oils ratio.
If the size of your diffuser is different, you can scale up or down the blend, always maintaining the proportions.
Depending on your aromatic taste, you may desire to modify the number of drops (increasing or decreasing) and this is just fine. Just make sure you respect more or less the given proportions, especially if you are just starting. As you become accustomed to your diffuser and to the new smell, you can adjust the number of essential oil drops according to your preferred aroma level.
If you don’t like a particular essential oil, you can use less of it, or simply skip it, leaving the other two in the diffuser.
In this case, you can slightly increase the number of drops of the remaining two essential oils. You can also opt for a third essential oil of your choice. You are welcome to ask us about the possible substitutions.

Diffuse this blend for 10 to 15 minutes in your living room or your bedroom and allow the harmonious notes to infuse your surroundings… Bask in a serene ambiance and experience the profound calming effects of this unique blend!

Note:

Remember to diffuse intermittently, typically 10-15 minutes/hour. Avoid diffusing in the presence of asthmatics and children under six years old.
