Cane Sugar

Raw cane sugar obtained from sugar cane, a plant native to tropical regions, is used as a sweetener and is known for its sweet, slightly fruity taste. Sugarcane juice, not only contains natural sugars, but nutrients such as sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and iron. It gives an instant shot of energy, but also is a natural treatment for liver-related ailments—such as jaundice, helps sooth digestive distress by balancing the pH levels of the stomach, and reduces the burning sensation related to urinary tract infections. Furthermore, sugarcane contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which increase cell turnover to repair sun damage and signs of acne. When used as an exfoliant, it removes dead skin cells without stripping the skin of moisture, leaving skin refreshed and hydrated.
